Always check for registration number on SEBI’s website, yaar, or with RBI if it’s about banking. But registration isn't any guarantee, haan. I lost money in a chit fund that was "registered" — after five long years and many trips to the police station, I got only a small part back. So my life says, even if it's on paper, your money might not come home.
