My son sends money from Dubai, which is such a blessing, but my salary as a senior staff nurse still gets tight every 15th when my daughter’s college EMI is due. I keep thinking, ‘Tension paduthundhi,’ but then I remember our Sunday call and feel okay. At least this month I saved a little by trying a simple biryani recipe at home instead of ordering out.
