Only, these SHG groups are good in theory, but in Bangalore trying to get that loan without collateral is not so simple, yaar. Actually, they want many people to join and save regularly first, and for a driver like me, my schedule is never fixed. My own experience? I tried joining one near my paying guest room, but the weekly meetings clashed with my night trips to Hubli, so I had to drop out. Sometimes the obvious help is just out of reach on the highway.
