That road repair talk makes my heart heavy—here in Imphal we have the same story every monsoon, the potholes swallow the small autos before the tourists even see the Loktak. Easier licenses only help if the government thinks of the chai-wala's son who needs a safe road home, not just the hotel owner's profit, na?
