For the measuring cylinder, read at the meniscus and record to half of the smallest division; thermometer is to one-tenth of a degree if it has that scale. The micrometer, beta, is to 0.01 mm — and don't forget the ratchet. They'll try to trick you on the decimal places, always check the scale twice.
