In a national park, you're allowed to feel small before the mangroves and the wide sky, but not allowed to take anything but that feeling. Gahirmatha is for the turtles to nest, not for our plastic to float. My life in Assam taught me that the most fragile things—a turtle hatchling, a child's education—need the strictest boundaries to survive. So I follow the rules, even the inconvenient ones, just as we protect our own Kaziranga.
