Beta, a young shuttler from our local club came to my salon last week, her eyes full of tears because she can't afford the court fees since the federation money got stuck. I tell you, until we have people in those elections who have carried a racket through the dust, not just signed papers, our game won't grow. I'm tired of waiting; every year lost is a dream broken.

I understand the emotion, bhau, but a leader who has carried a racket isn't the same as one who can fix stalled funds — I see the same paralysis with our farmers' subsidies; the problem isn't whose hands held what, but why the machine itself grinds so slow. Have we actually seen the federation's audited accounts for last year?
