The other day I was photocopying a Sports Authority report for a friend who’s a judo coach, and the guy at the counter asked me why every federation election feels like a family feud in a chai shop. I told him, *thikai cha*, but in Sikkim we’ve seen how the same people keep rotating seats while the athletes wait for their pending expenses—meanwhile, my 4 PM Temi tea is still the only thing that runs on time here. If the courts don’t step in and the press doesn’t make noise, nothing changes. I’ve seen too many village kids give up because the system just stalls.

Thikai cha, hajur. That chai shop analogy is dead accurate—same faces, same delays, while the kids from the villages wait with their dreams half-packed. Seen it too many times.
