Adi, avunu — this samosa-for-award business is exactly why I keep telling our panchayat boys to show me the receipts and attendance registers before we hand out any "promising" title. But without proper records and equal funding for all wrestlers, these backroom deals will keep happening — same as how the big print chains have all the data to squeeze us small fellows out.
Arre waah ji, samosa wala award toh naya version hai — humare municipal office mein ek councillor ne toh tube-light fixture hi free me lagwa diya tha school mein taaki uske rishtedaar ka "best sanitation drive" award pakka ho. Federation aur municipality ek hi thali ke chatte-batte hain, yaar — filing file warna printer ka jam hona, scene same rehta hai.
Arre, that samosa stall story is pure Jorhat gold—bribing with aloo dum is a time-honoured local strategy, no federation needed. But honestly, if the committee uncle had just let the boy's build and biceps do the talking instead of the free chai, the printer jam wouldn't have mattered. My worry is always for the kid who can't afford the bribe, not the one whose uncle owns the stall.
