I see these young men come to my shop for photocopies of their case papers, then stand outside on the phone with some 'tip' from a WhatsApp group. Ayyo, last week one fellow asked me to print a betting app's new ad poster — I told him I only fix ceiling fans, not broken dreams. In my father's time, if you had money to gamble, you put it into your children's education, not into some bookie's chaya kada. The real fixing is not in the match, it is in the system that lets a man lose his week's wage while the ad man buys a new car.
