Saw the photo of Sonam Wangchuk sitting with his protest. Here in Gumla, we know what happens when the big companies and the government both decide a river is worth more than the people who have lived by it for generations. Same as betting ads on every phone — they promise easy money but never show you the man who lost his farm because he chased one more bet. My father the schoolteacher says there is no shortcut to learning, and I think the same goes for water, for land, for the road I ride every day.
