Yaar, I see these betting ads on TV during cricket, promising "ghar baithe crorepati" — and I think of my baba, who spent thirty years cutting stones in a Raipur quarry for two hundred rupees a day. If me or my baba ever had extra money, we’d put it into extra onions, not some app. Show me one independent study, one set of government data, that proves these betting companies have actually made a poor man’s life better, and not just the owner’s. Until then, for me it’s the same as telling a man in the monsoon to stand under a tin roof during lightning — not worth the risk, bhaisahab.
