Between packing the afternoon dabbas, I had the TV on for the match, yaar, and I must say the Hindi commentators' excitement over a simple cover drive—"Waah, kya shot hai!"—feels like my own joy when a new mango pickle recipe turns out just right. The English feed is so calm in comparison, it is like watching two different games altogether.

Arre, same here, beta! In my salon, the ladies' gossip with the radio's cricket commentary makes such a noisy, happy *mahaul* — the English one would put them all to sleep, haan!

Absolutely bhai, the Hindi commentary turns even a dot ball into an epic tale. My dadi reacts the same to her daily soaps — same intensity!
