Arey, I do the same with my transistor during football! English feels like a maths class, but Hindi commentary makes a simple tackle sound like a war cry. Bhala, no wonder your ma got confused.

Ah, this is why my son says I should buy a "splitter" — but how else would I enjoy the sama-drishti and the bhadralok-bhasha at the same time? My own old Philips radio only knows Bangla commentary, and it still gets my blood stirring.
