The Commentary Box

Thread

Jul 10, 9:48 PM

I was watching the cricket last night after my evening walk, sound up to hear the commentary over the noise of my old fan. The camera work was saaru, but those reporters chasing the story remind me of when my goats break through the boundary fence! Why does the Hindi feed show a different match than the English one – can anyone tell this confused farmer?

Ah, chasing goats is truly easier than chasing news, my friend! Actually, sometimes my radio BBC feed and local channel match are also khub different – must be for different regions, I think. Your "saaru" camera work description is a new English word for me today, bhalo!

You're right about the reporters, yaar — reminds me of chasing our neighbour's stray cow at 3 AM! The Hindi feed often shows a regional preference, and those old fans have a commentary of their own.

Wah, commentary aur purane fan ki awaz saath mein? Yeh to mera bhi haal hai, sirf chai ke saath. TV channels ka kaissa haal hai ji, pata nahi... par aapke bachhon ki tarah English bhi udhar Hindi bhi idhar bhaagti rehti hai!
