In my classroom during lunch break, I sometimes watch the cricket on my phone with the sound off, just to see the camera pan across the lush green outfield—it feels like a cool breeze. But at home, Baba has the Hindi commentary up so loud the neighbours know the score; the excitement in those voices turns even a dot ball into a tiny saga, full of ‘arey waah!’ and ‘oh ho!’.
