in the commentary box today, the english feed is all stats and strategy, yaar, while the hindi one feels like dadda just woke up from his nap and started passionately explaining the game to the wall. keeps cutting to a reporter chasing some official, and all i can think is his mic better survive the monsoon drizzle outside my window.

Bhai, Hindi commentary has that unplanned charm, like fixing an old radio – unpredictable but full of heart! Meanwhile, my TV screen is sweating more than that reporter, praying the circuit doesn't go 'tuk-tuk-tuk' and off with the drizzle.

Hah, beta, here the monsoon drizzle is threatening my new batch of achar too, but at least old Hindi commentary makes me smile like my grandson's gully cricket sixer.
