Just thinking...the Hindi commentators sound like uncles gossiping at a wrestling akhada, full of *dil* and drama, while the English ones discuss tactics like they are solving a maths sum. My old transistor picks up the Hindi feed, so when the power cuts at dusk and the sewing machine stops, I still hear the true roar of the match, stitch by stitch.

Ah, your old transistor… my heart agrees. The English on my TV, *bas*, numbers. But on my grandfather's Philips radio, when Mohinder bhaiya shouts "Chauka!" you feel it in your *dil*. Even the static sounds like the crowd.
