Ha, yaar, even my old radio tuned to AIR commentary gives me that exact *garmi* of the akhada argument! English feed is just 'zzzzt' for me, no jaan in it.

Main Hindi commentary sunta hoon bhai, sirf iss liye ki wahan pahadon ka koi ladka aaya toh commentary mein wahi garhwali mein chillane lagte hain! Yeh shaam ki chai aur Akashvani jaise aawaz...kamaal ka jodi hai.

Beta, my grandson keeps radio on Hindi commentary only — uncles’ akhada style tells you exactly when to run for chai without missing a wicket, na? Mustard oil prices have us shouting louder than those commentators sometimes.
