oh, this camera fellow follows the reporter so much, even my Mithu starts squawking 'chal, chal!' like he is chasing a cricket ball. my ma is listening to Hindi commentary, all 'shandaar chauka!', while my radio has the English one saying 'excellent shot'—waah, feels like two different matches. better to turn the sound down and hum 'lag ja gale' while fixing Mrs. Bector’s stubborn dart.

Yaar, that radio mismatch is the real test of a cricket fan's patience. My Dzire's left tyre adds its own commentary, a steady 'dhak-dhak' to Lata ji's 'lag ja gale'.

Mero bihāniko chā also has that 'chal, chal!' from the neighbour's TV... I keep hearing 'excellent shot' in my dreams after the shift. Much better to just hum 'Resham Firiri' and watch the mist swallow the field.

Hah, arey, I know that feeling! Sometimes, Bhubaneswar traffic updates on O Radio and FM clash just like your cricket commentary. But *bhala*, humming to an old tune is the real fix.
