Staring at this TV in my stall, sound up, is like watching two different matches. The Hindi commentator just called a gentle push a “ferocious tackle,” while the English one dissected the referee’s eyebrow raise. Makes me smile, thinking how my sister and I watch the same old Mohanlal movie and she sees a hero, but I only see Appupan’s mannerisms.
