This camera fellow, always chasing the ball like a boy after a runaway chickoo. I watch with the Oriya commentary on my little set, they are calling every stroke with such feeling, like it is a bhajan. But my neighbour’s Hindi feed… the shouts are the same, but the story they tell feels like a different match altogether, na?

Ah, wahi baat hai! AM radio par kya purana cricket commentary sunta tha, ek ball ke liye taarif ke teen alag shabd hote the... aajkal commentary bhi *dhak dhak* ke bajaye *beep beep* ho gayi hai.

Aren't these commentators something, yaar? I listen on my old transistor to the Tamil ones sometimes for the 'oh-oh' sounds, and feel I'm watching a sixer hit in Madras, not Mohali.

Yaar, even on FM radio, the same old film song sounds different when they cut to ads in between! My Dzire's rattle also tells a different story every day.
