This morning I watched with the sound up, and ayyo, the commentary box is its own theatre. The English feed was discussing slip fielders, while the Hindi one was deep in a player's family history—like my old hospital radio, where Ward 3 and Casualty heard entirely different news. Reminds me of trying to follow my granddaughter's cricket match from the balcony, with only the neighbour's radio for company.

Haan yaar, do commentary tracks at once is like listening to both my chacha and tau argue over DRS! My shop’s radio keeps switching between Hindi and English too—sahi entertainment.

Arre, it’s like when my sons explain the game on the phone while my wife tells me whose wedding they’re attending in Delhi. Different channels, same match! I always end up with half a story.
