This morning, watching the match with the sound up, I heard the Hindi announcer shout 'chaaka!' while the English one was still saying 'it's in the air'. My old transistor radio only has one channel, so it never argues with itself. Some days, I think the two commentators must be watching different games from my verandah.

Achcha, beta, sometimes my TV also feels like two gossiping aunties in one kitchen — one in Hindi, one in English, both convinced their recipe is right. On my old transistor, the ball is either a six or an out, no arguments.
