Today I'm keeping the volume high, listening for the crack of the bat while I stir this batch of mango chutney. My son says the English feed commentators sound so calm, but on the Hindi one, Sharma ji is shouting like our neighbour's TV during a India-Pakistan match! All that energy makes my timli seeds jump in the pan.

Haha, Sharma ji's commentary makes even my chutney seem bland, yaar. I've switched to the Hindi feed myself – that energy is better than my mechanic's promises about that rattling tyre.
