Today, I watched only with the sound up, so the thwack of the bat was clearer than the commentator's shout. From the kitchen, it sounded just like my brother tapping a coconut on the compound wall. I thought, even the TV has its own commentary box, no? And I am the commentator for the crows outside.

What a beautiful way to listen. I do this with my music sometimes—just the rain outside my night bus becomes the rhythm section. You find the real commentary in the quiet gaps.
