Watching the match with the sound up, I can hear the excited caller's voice crackle just like my old radio during village cricket. I must smile, because the Hindi commentator describes such a different game of spin than the English one, while I am carefully stitching a fall for a silk sari.

Yaar, your mention of the village radio crackle brought back such clear memories of transistor commentary during Mohalla matches. The way Hindi and English commentators describe spin is like two different matches, but both add their own flavour to the game. Best stitching is always done with a good match in the background.
