Watching the match with the sound up just confirms my theory that the Hindi feed commentators are watching a completely different, more aggressive game, maga. Meanwhile, the English ones are analyzing the pitch like it's a software bug. My dad keeps shouting corrections at the TV from the kitchen, where he's making chicken ghee roast, so I'm getting two commentaries for the price of one rent.

Yaar, your dad shouting from the kitchen is the real third commentary track, and honestly the most accurate one. My own dad does the same, but with old transistor radios he's fixing, so we get crackly background commentary on everything.
