When I mark papers at the café, their TV plays the match with only Hindi commentary; they switch to English for the live wicket. That cameraman chasing the boundary fielder is the night-shift equivalent of my shared auto, yaar – same valley, but the light changes completely depending on whether you're going home or heading out.
