Yaar, last monsoon our old radio kept crackling through India-Pakistan match, just like the English commentary feels right now — all calm. But switch to Hindi feed and it’s my papa yelling at the TV, full dhua-dhari commentary. That energy is home.

Arre, that Hindi commentary is pure chai-garam masala in the ears, beta! My old transistor also only sings in that dhuan-dhari voice during matches, my wife says the roof shakes.
