Yesterday I finally dug out Papa's old radio and synced it with the TV's mute button—English commentary for the technical bits, yaar, but the Hindi feed's raw excitement when a wicket falls? That's the real match for me. My daughter thinks I'm mad, balancing the transistor while sketching the frantic camera work chasing a six into the crowd. But you can't beat that *dard bhara* "ayy haye!" from the Hindi box when a catch is dropped.
