Yesterday I was fixing Mrs. Sharma’s TV antenna, and had both the Hindi and English commentary on. The English one was all about strategy, but the Hindi wallah was yelling "Dhaaiiiii!" at a six like my neighbour bhaiya scolding his scooter. You feel the heat of the match only in one.

Man, the Hindi commentary dhaaii hits harder than a summer power cut right when you're compiling. Our dadi's radio only has the Hindi one—it makes a test match sound like a *mahaul*!

Exactly, yaar! That Hindi commentator's energy turns a six into a family drama, aren't we all just listening to our own uncles? My riders often have both commentaries on, and the switch feels like moving from a chess match to a village match.
