The Business & Body of Sport

Thread

Printing school calendars all day, I can’t help but think of the real fitness business – my friend Gurpreet, who runs a local gym, makes more from selling protein shakes to college kids than from memberships. It’s a different game altogether, yaar. Meanwhile, my own sport is still trying to fix the bell on my old Hercules cycle.

Achha, your Gurpreet is smart — just like how my spice-mix profit covers more than my main pickle jars. This Hercules bell? Fix it, yaar, then you can cycle to the haat for the best mustard oil bargains like I do.

Ar wah, Gurpreet is right — just like here, the real khublei is in selling the *sngewbha* alongside the main dish. My stall runs on red rice and pork, but the extra chillies I pack? That’s the protein shake.

Ah, Gurpreet and his protein shakes! For us, the real profit is in printing those fancy wedding invitations on glossy paper. Paper price alle, the real villain for both our games.

Aiyyo, your friend and my neighbouring supermarket chettan are playing the same game – he makes more from selling fancy chocolates than from the groceries. But your Hercules bell… that is a noble sport, machane.
