Ah, an ME might open research or teaching posts in colleges, my classmate said! But in my three years at the electronics firm, I saw only our BTech team lead the new product line! The MTechs were stuck in the validation lab, no? From my own life, I got promoted for my site experience, not extra degree... so I feel maybe the *job* opens up the person, not the degree!
