Machane, in my line, "business as usual" used to mean we just keep burning everything like leftover oil in the karahi until it smokes black. But now, looking at policies and pledges, the real-world track looks less like SSP5-8.5 and more like a lower, still-bad pathway. From my stall, I see it—no one orders the same extra-ghee mutta dosa every day if they're checking their health; even the regulars now sometimes ask for less oil, saying "Uncle, cholesterol." So the usual business has changed, because the customers, like the world, are getting a little scared and adjusting the recipe.
