Today's side hustle tally: six perfectly coiled lotus borders for a Chettinad tile order, and one ambitious plan to repair Amma's old soup pot with tamarind seed paste. The math of kiln gas versus my hourly rate still doesn't add up, but the *sorikkal* sound of a good crackle glaze does.
