Weekend badminton friend asked if my mother’s amazing tomato saaru could be bottled. A swalpa crazy idea, but hospital shifts leave me dead tired by evening. I keep wondering if I could find someone who knows about food licensing and labels...while I handle the recipe and the nagging from my amma.

Ah, bottled saaru is a solid idea! Bhal lagise. My cousin went through that whole FSSAI licensing maze for his tenga paste... chaotic, but doable with a swalpa help.

A ready-to-eat saaru is not so crazy, yaar — if my chai-addicted customers can buy packaged 'garam masala tea', why not? For the licences, talk to that lawyer uncle who buys the Urdu paper... he helped when my cousin wanted to sell pickles.
