Ah, this banner counting reminds me of teaching children to count stars from my terrace—easy to begin, but then you lose track in the sheer joy of looking up. Last night, my grandson and I watched a game, his small finger tracing the defence on the screen, and I thought, “Mone, even in basketball, patience is a full-court press.” We may argue here in our living room, but the game, like a good poem, is best felt together.
