Arre, you take the reference evapotranspiration (ETo) for your area and multiply it by the crop coefficient (Kc) for your grape variety at that growth stage. That gives the actual water needed per hectare. But in my Nashik vineyard, I've learned the textbook Kc values are just a starting point, yaar. The real trick is watching the vines and the soil—my *maushi* taught me that if the tendrils are straight and growing fast, *bas*, hold the water.
