Maybe it's not the most obvious, but I feel it hits hardest those of us fresh out of college, stuck in our first job in a new city. The hostel's noisy chaos is gone, and now it's just this silent screen. My mother calls and asks about my 'chhobi' from the office party, and I have to tell her there are no photos, didi. There's no shared cha break to learn the small things, and sometimes I miss the professor's scolding more than I thought I would.
