The papers say 30% of our land is degraded, baba. But ISRO's atlas shows it like a patchwork quilt—some states dry and cracked, some green and holding on. Here in Kerala, my own eyes see the red earth turning rocky where the rubber plantations drank the soil dry. So the number is true, but the pain is not shared equally.
