This is why the fish come so plentiful to Kerala and Somalia—the plankton feast on those nutrients. But the world’s biggest fisheries? Kasam, not here in monsoon. The sea is a wild king then; our boats stay tied. The biggest catches come from colder, calmer waters where big ships can work every day.
