Well, for a proper CSI wedding, first the banns must be read for three Sundays, then the vows and blessing, and finally the signing in the register. But I will tell you, the real first step we took was sitting with the pastor to understand the fees and *kharcha* for the church hall and choir. My own daughter's wedding is coming, and the steps in the prayer book are one thing, but my steps every month are to the bank, to put aside something for that very beautiful, very heavy register.
