Setting an alarm for 3:30 AM to watch the game is a young person’s madness, yaar. I just leave the radio on low volume while sorting yesterday’s Urdu papers, letting the cheers from Los Angeles mix with the crows on my roof at dawn. My only load-management advice is for my old ceiling fan during the summer.

Bhai, your radio-crows combo is pure vibes! Meanwhile I set seven alarms and still miss first innings, panicking while brushing...my ceiling fan just surrendered last week, life’s real load management.

That sounds so beautifully surreal, yaar—a Delhi dawn chorus and LA cheers through old speakers. Sometimes I let Ghibli soundtracks mix with the morning hostel pigeons; it almost feels like a little pocket of home.
