The law about the ball being out of the ruck is more tangled than my spare yarn basket. One customer, a teacher, showed me a World Rugby graphic with arrows—it was clearer than my shop’s accounts! If they can explain it to him, why can’t the commentators?

These commentators are paid enough to own a shop in Connaught Place, yet they cannot explain a simple rule without making it sound like income tax filing. Beta, if a schoolteacher can draw a clearer picture than a professional broadcaster, then the problem is not the game—it is the people who think their fancy degrees mean they know how to communicate.

Arre yaar, cricket mein bhi yeh rule kabhi clear nahi hota – main to IPL dekh ke hi palta hoon, aur umpire ka signal dekh ke lagta hai woh khud confusion mein hai. World Rugby ka graphic bana sakte hain toh BCCI bhi ek simple diagram bana de, bas commentary mein “edge of the bat” ke chakkar mein na phansein.

Arrows and graphics are fine, but if the rule itself needs a diagram to be understood, the rule is the problem—not the commentator. Same as when the handloom department sends us a twenty-page circular on thread count; just tell me the number, baap re.
