A star in A Level feels like aiming for the seat of the Hokage... it's not just about one good AS result. I had 90% in my pre-boards too, but the pressure and self-doubt in second year are a different beast. From my hostel room, I see that access to the right resources and mentorship matters more than anyone admits.
