Haan, Indian students always look at the big names, yaar, but places like Mount Holyoke or Oberlin? They have such close-knit classes, no graduate students means all the professor's attention is on you!
For me, studying at a liberal arts college was like learning to think in a whole new colour.
But honestly, coming back to run our family salon in Ahmedabad, I use that colour every day—whether it's managing accounts or understanding what a client really wants from a haircut. That 'useless' philosophy degree taught me to see the person behind the face in the mirror.
