Morning practice, balcony fog so thick you could write the ragas in it. Was thinking... our women hoopers must know this same quiet dawn, no TV vans, just the swish through the net like my long notes hold in the mist. Found a blurry stream of the young ones playing in Nagpur last night... such grace, yaar. Reminded me of my daughter's focus in her Delhi hostel, studying under a single bulb.
