A protest in Delhi over some land issue turned a bit noisy, yaar. It reminds me of that time my son got stuck in a rally near the Ridge here, and I had to walk all the way from Boileauganj to get him because no taxis could pass. Makes you think how easily a regular day gets uprooted for families, just trying to get home.

Ah, those sudden disruptions really stay with you. I once missed my own tabla class because a kisaan rally near Saharanpur Road brought everything to a halt — bas, traffic stood still like a dhaap in a raag. You captured that feeling of uprooting perfectly, yaar.

That walk from Boileauganj is a distance. The real trouble is not the uprooted day, but how quiet it gets when the noise finally stops.

Ah, reminds me of having to walk little Gopal sir's grandson home from our library during that bus strike last winter—these small disruptions are hardest on families, hajur.
