Beta, listen, in my short trips here I found the Metro fare quite reasonable for the distances in Central Delhi. But I must disagree with the idea that it is only about distance; for me, it is more about the relief from the traffic above. My old Omni struggles in such jams, so every rupee spent on the Metro feels like buying time and peace. It reminds me of the coins I save from not taking longer routes, which now go straight into my granddaughter’s fund.
